 39 EUR Unlimited Tariff.pdf

  • 39 EUR per month, including TVA.  This offer includes your local and national calls within France, to landlines and International landline calls to 53 countries worldwide; including Europe, North America, Australia and New Zealand, plus many others.  Countries outside the 53 countries offer,  will be charged extra - as well as mobile phones, but at a very competitive rate.  Please see accompanying list of countries for further details and the cost of calls to the countries outside the offer.
  • No joining fee, cancellation fee or contract duration.  You only pay the 39 euros per month for unlimited calls to Landlines, as stated in the tariff above; plus calls to 08 Premium numbers.  Please note France Telecom can take up to 2 weeks to restore or switch your line to another operator.  Therefore, we are able to cancel your account without any charge between the 1st and the 19th of the month, but between the 20th and the end of the month, you will be charged for the following month.
  • All ‘Premium’ numbers are charged extra.  This includes UK 08 numbers, which are charged at 27.5 cents per minute.   Primus whenever possible, allows you to dial 08 UK numbers such as 0800, 0870 and 0845 series numbers, which are often blocked by overseas operators.  09 series numbers are definitely not able to be dialled outside of the UK.   However, the whole 08 UK system is very complicated and some numbers are not accessible for technical reasons, despite what other companies might advertise.  If you have to dial a 08 UK number, I suggest you ask your recipient to give you a normal number to use,  to save you money.  There is a very useful Internet site that gives alternative geographical numbers to the 08 UK series of numbers at www.saynoto0870.com this then would allow you to dial within your 'forfait' (deal). • Monthly itemised billing.  Billing may be sent to a UK address if you prefer.  Email billing on request.   If you join in the middle of a month the following month's bill will show a prorata amount for your calls made from the previous month, plus the current months amount.
  • Payment is by French Bank Direct Debit (prélèvement) which must include a printed RIB from your bank.   Credit cards or cheques are not accepted.   The direct debit autorisation will be sent to your bank on the 5th of the month and your bank will  debit your account 5 to 10 days later.   If your direct debit fails for any reason, Primus may well levy a small charge the following month, to cover the bank charges to them of a rejected direct debit.
  • Connection is normally within 24 hours of receiving your application.  You can use the Primus system with a prefix of 1656 immediately that you are connected, but you will then have to wait until France Telecom has switched your outgoing line to Primus, so that you can dial normally, without the prefix. This can take several days.  We will provide you with a special number to ring that will tell you when France Telecom has done this switch.  This message is in both French and English.  We are totally dependant on France Telecom for this operation.  Incidentally, France Telecom is the only body able to touch your line.
  • All calls outside the 'forfait' (deal) are charged by the second, from the first second.  Your Internet access, analogue or ADSL Broadband is not affected in anyway whatsoever and is still routed through France Telecom, whoever you are connected to.  French 08 series numbers such as ‘Indigo,’ ‘autre operator’ and ‘services audiotel’ will appear on your France Telecom bill.  Some French 08 Premium numbers route through other operators - and you might well receive with your France Telecom bill, another bill from ‘Free Telecom’ or ‘Cegetel.’ These can be a bit confusing, but will relate to any French 08 or 4 digit numbers you have called.

HOW TO JOIN

Please download the application form Download Application Form  Download Application Form

The following must be returned to our address below (not Primus) with your application:

1.  The Primus application form signed in the two relevant places and dated.

2. A printed RIB slip, (relevé d’identité bancaire) from your cheque book or statement.

3. A copy of a front page of a recent France Telecom bill, showing you are not a business.

You may also return the forms duly signed by email, or fax 05 67 69 95 63

We will be unable to process your application without any of the above.  We will inform you by phone as soon as you are connected to the Primus Network, which is normally within 24 to 36 hours of receiving your paperwork.  The above also applies to existing Primus customers changing to this offer, who are not on an ‘Unlimited’ system, as you are starting a brand new contract.  Your new direct debit supersedes your old one.

This offer is a ‘présélection’ service.  That is to say you dial as you do at present and the system is totally invisible to you.  Your application includes a ‘mandat de présélection’  This mandate is forwarded to France Telecom by Primus, France Telecom in turn switch your outgoing line so that all vocal and fax calls are routed automatically via Primus.  The quality and reliability of Primus is the same as France Telecom. Your incoming line is still with France Telecom along with all its extras such as answerphone, transfer to another phone etc.  Having joined Primus you should only pay France Telecom for your two monthly abonnement (standing charge) of 30.00€ TTC plus any calls you make to Premium French 08** numbers.  Please tell us if you have a France Telecom forfait and we will send you a letter to cancel it.  This must be sent by 'lettre recommandée avec accusé de réception,’ from La Poste.  If you are on preselection with another operator, then you will need to cancel this by the same method and we can send you a letter to forward onto them.  France Telecom should inform you within 14 days, by letter, that they have made this change, though often many customers never receive this letter.  If for any reason you wish to use France Telecom you can request a system called ‘8FT’ which allows you to bypass Primus and use France Telecom. This has to be ordered specifically from your local France Telecom agency and is a free service. I can supply a suitable letter on request in French to send to France Telecom.
